Fairness, F.O.M.O and Finding Your Flow

In a week in which many of our thoughts have been on the life and death of Queen Elizabeth, this morning we chose to focus on how we can celebrate life and live fully.

"Take the world and redefine it, leave behind your narrow mind, you'll never be the same."

"It's not fair!" is a phrase many parents will have heard before and these kids share their experiences with fairness.

In a diverse world, how can the world be fair and is fairness even something that is desirable?

In this clip from the movie Encanto, one member of the Madrigal family avoids acknowledging the unfairness in her family: that she seems to be the only member without a magical gift.

"I'm letting go of the thoughts that do not make me strong."

In a world in which particular body shapes are celebrated, this lady promotes an alternative philosophy.

We are regularly bombarded by media and advertising that are all telling us that joy can be ours if we'll only look a certain way, buy a particular product or ensure we don't miss out on a particular experience. Clare highlights some common false narratives and introduces an alternative to the fear of missing out.

"Open up your heart and just let it begin."

If you find yourself bored, anxious or apathetic then flow theory may help you move in a new direction.

As a professional artist, Clare speaks about how Flow Theory and the creative process is a living reality for her.

"Today is where your book begins, the rest is still unwritten."
