There are two kinds of hope.
One is an acknowledgement that I'm one step from disaster:
"I hope my kids don't get into drugs!"
"I hope I can pay the mortgage!"
"I hope I don't lose my job!"
But there's another kind of hope: It's the confident expectation that the last word has not yet been spoken.
